Growing up in Pattaya, our friendship started long before design was ever part of the conversation. We met in fourth grade, bonded by a shared obsession with cars, and somehow never stopped talking. To this day, our appreciation for Porsche remains one of the constants in a friendship that has continued to evolve over the years.

As life unfolded, we found ourselves pursuing different paths. Owen studied Industrial Design in Savannah, Georgia, while Gunn built his career in hospitality and culinary arts, eventually working as a sous chef in Maine. Despite the distance, we stayed connected through a shared curiosity for craft, culture, and the pursuit of doing meaningful work.

After graduation, our paths crossed again in Bangkok. What started as conversations between old friends gradually became an exchange of ideas, experiences, and perspectives gathered from different corners of the world. Platform emerged from those conversations — and the rest is history.
